What you're wearing
Zest heads out of the shops and on to the streets to see what people are wearing in Christchurch.

Benji, shoe sales assistant, High St: “Everything’s from YSLs & Collectors. The jeans and the shoe are by G-Star and the T-shirt is by Obey, which is from America. The shoesare Converse All Stars. I think G-Star are ahead of their game in terms of denim and they make really good streetwear that’s stylish and durable. Obey is good, too, and I like Diesel and Scotch & Soda, which is a brand from Amsterdam. I mainly stick to streetwear and things with a nice fit, a bit of colour and nothing too over the top.”
Tori Wicki, dance teacher, Lichfield St: “The top is from Supre and the long blue one underneath is from Glassons. So are the tights. My shoesare from Cotton On and the bangles are from Diva. I’ll shop anywhere, but Cotton On and Glassons are good. I just like comfy things so I’m usually wearing big tops with tights or skinny jeans.” Susan Bishop, office administrator, Kivers Lane: “My shoe is from World and the necklace is from Boxes. The trousers are by Paula Ryan and they’re from Quinns. The stockings are from Boxes, too. My shoesare from Shoezies and I got the purse at Biani Treasure Box at Merivale Mall.
I like to shop at World, Aria, Lynn Woods and Quinns. I love clothes, but I tend to go more by what suits me rather than what’s in fashion.” Charlotte Caunce, telemarket researcher, Cashel Mall: “The shoe is from Jay Jays and so is the top. I got the bag at a little shop in Hornby Mall, but I can’t remember the name. My skirt is from Glassons. The tights are from The Warehouse and the shoes, too. My favourite shops would be Dotti and Lippy for clothes to go out in, and for everyday things, it would probably be Glassons and Jay Jays. I really like all the little Asian shops, too. I’m not really into trends – I just wear whatever I want.”
